LIPA Association in its offer of membership has a basic division on the two membership options which are the Local and International. Membership at the local basis applies to LOCAL EX YU and the LOCAL WEST, while international applies to EUROPE I and EUROPE II and EUROPE III. In the following text we will try to explain in more detail the difference between the Local and the International membership and what their characteristics are. Besides the Local and International membership, every member has a possibility of selection of membership packages and packages of services relating to international membership.

Local

In case you choose one of the packages which does not suit your needs and desires, the association offers you the Local.

Membership packages remain the same, and the Local, in agreement with its members may include:

  • Funeral in the country of your residence
  • Funeral in the country that is not listed in our packages
  • The needs and desires that are not listed in our packages
  • Specific and special requests
  • Specific and special situations that are not listed

For each request of membership in the Local package, it is necessary to:

  • Personally – visit your nearest LIPA ASSOCIATION partner
  • Or directly on the website of the LIPA Association

It is necessary to apply with your requirements and specificities, and you will receive a response within 3 working days with an assessment of your requirements as well as the price of your annual membership.
For each new member, funeral warranty shall enter into force 190 days after registration. During this period, only traffic accidents and accidents at work are guaranteed, as well as unpredictable causes of death (heart attack and stroke).

International

International service packages are pre-defined services that are most frequently requested for repatriation of the deceased in their home country. There are four different packages named: Basic, Standard, Exclusive and Gold.

They are usually chosen, so they are from 15% to 20% cheaper.

Membership packages remain the same, and the International service packages, in consultation with their members may include:

  • Transportation of the deceased in the country of funeral
  • Transportation of the deceased and organization of the funeral in the country of the funeral

For each request of membership in the International package, it is necessary to:

  • Get closer to us, our closest partner
  • Or directly on the website of the LIPA Association

Packages of membership and services

In order to choose the right funeral warranty it is necessary to choose the right membership package and service package that you want in order to be entitled to certain services and benefits.

LIPA SINGLE is a single funeral warranty for an adult at the age of 18 years or more of any nationality and religion with the regular permanent or temporary residence Europe.
LIPA DUO is a funeral warranty for couples that is for two adult persons (over 18 years) that have the same home address (a married couple, a cohabiting couple, brother and sister) of any nationality and religion with the regular permanent or temporary residence Europe. Funeral warranty for couples is the right choice for married and cohabiting couples without children, and for brothers and sisters who do not have their own families.
LIPA FAMILY is a family funeral warranty for one or two adult persons (over 18 years) that have the same home address (a married couple, a cohabiting couple) with up to four children under the age of 21 years, of any nationality and religion with the regular permanent or temporary residence Europe. Family funeral warranty is the right choice for married and cohabiting couples with children and multigenerational families.

– LIPA BASIC is a basic package that includes basic services: transport, administration, funeral equipment

– LIPA STANDARD an intermediate service package which, in addition to services that are included in the basic package, has an additional service – the organization of funeral

– LIPA EXCLUSIVE is a higher service package that includes standard services with more quality equipment

– LIPA GOLD is the highest package of services, and therefore, the most comprehensive package

Administrative procedure

In case of death the LIPA Association in cooperation with their partners throughout Europe, processes in full all the administrative part regardless of where the deceased is located.

Organization regarding the deceased

LIPA Association, in consultation with their members, will take care of all the details regarding the deceased: bathing, dressing, professional make-up, conservation care (only after their family’s wishes).

Funeral equipment

In accordance with the selection of package, LIPA Association provides a wide range of complete funeral equipment of high quality.

Organization of the transport of the deceased

With your membership LIPA Association takes over the complete organization of transport of deceased persons on the territory of the whole Europe. Transport of the deceased will be carried out by specialized vehicles for this purpose.

Organization of funeral

With our partners’ cooperation and in consultation with their members, the LIPA Association will organize a funeral according to your wishes and possibilities. LIPA is there to enable you to carry out all religious and ethnic traditions of all religions.

Organization after the funeral

LIPA Association is there to protect and stand by their members before and after the funeral, to represent, advise and assist them in all aspects.
